Last updated: September 22, 2026

Bin Pros Disposal ("Bin Pros", "we", "us") rents roll-off bins across Toronto, York Region and Peel. This policy explains what personal information we collect through binprosdisposal.com and when you contact us, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, book a bin, call, or email us, we may collect:

  • your first and last name
  • your phone number and email address
  • the delivery address for the bin
  • your preferred delivery date
  • the bin size you want and what you plan to throw out
  • anything else you choose to tell us in your message or on the phone

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, some information is collected automatically:

  • your device and browser type, and your general location (city or region) based on your IP address
  • which pages you visit, how long you stay, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from a Google search)

This comes from cookies and similar tools, described in Section 5.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. We never ask for payment card numbers through this website.

2. Why we use it

We use your information to:

  • answer your quote request and give you a price
  • schedule, deliver and pick up your bin at the right address
  • contact you about your rental, including delivery times, pick-up, weight overages or billing
  • prepare your invoice in our office and send it to you by email
  • keep records required for our business, tax and accounting obligations
  • understand how people use our website so we can improve it
  • protect our website and forms from spam and abuse

Marketing emails: we only send news and offers if you tick "Sign up for news and updates" on our form, or otherwise give us permission. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us (see Section 9).

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

We only share your information when it is needed to provide our service or run our business:

  • Our team and drivers, so they can deliver and pick up your bin.
  • Service providers who help us run the business, under their own privacy and security commitments:
    • Squarespace hosts our website and forms, and stores form submissions and email subscriber lists.
    • Google provides website analytics (Google Analytics), spam protection on our forms (Google reCAPTCHA) and maps.
  • When required by law, for example to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

4. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers, including Squarespace and Google, store and process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States. While it is there, it may be subject to that country's laws and accessible to its authorities.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies, which are small files saved in your browser:

  • Squarespace uses cookies needed for the site to work and to keep it secure.
  • Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits and how our pages are used. This information is reported to us as statistics. It is not used to identify you personally.
  • Google reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from a real person.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but some features, such as our forms, may not work correctly. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

6. How long we keep it

We keep quote, booking and invoice records for 7 years, as needed for our tax and accounting obligations. After that, we delete them securely.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information:

  • access limited to the people who need it
  • password-protected accounts
  • secure (HTTPS) connections on our website

No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix any problem quickly if one happens.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date
  • delete your information, unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons
  • stop sending you marketing emails

We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
